Its been a long time coming to give our master bedroom some life. When we moved in it looked like this, dated and dark. The toughest part of this room for me is that slant ceiling over the bed. What drew me in when we were looking at this house, was the fireplace, such great feature.

I knew it was time for this space to get some attention and when Joss and Main reached out to collaborate it kicked my butt into gear.

I started with the bed, I sold our old bed as it just didn’t fit my style anymore and I needed a change. The bed that I had my eyes on for months was the Milan Upholstered Bed, its modern lines and sleek look was just the piece to set the stage for our room.

Unfortunately, there was a long wait time on this bed, if you follow along on Instagram you know that I ended up building the bed, and I couldn’t be happier with it in our space!

With having worked so hard on the bed, I needed to add the pieces to give it the statement it deserved. I knew I needed to add color to the space, and with my love for the blues, these denim colored euro pillows were the perfect addition.

I then layered the bed with this beautiful quilt to give the bed some texture and warmth as well as to balance the blues. The quilt paired with the denim pillows is the perfect color palette, so serene for a bedroom retreat!

These items were the perfect addition to add some depth to the bed, as well as that cozy and relaxing feel all master bedrooms should feel.

The over-sized nightstands that I added have provided so much extra, much needed, storage and the its so nice to have a large space to style as well as hold a larger lamp for that extra light.

This space has truly transformed and with the addition of the pieces from
